PROGRAMS
Our mission is to maximize the creativity and leadership skills of our social work students and clientele. We strive to uphold solidarity with our clients in order to respond creatively to the formidable problems of poverty, racial discrimination, community violence, educational disadvantage, and social exclusion.
LAW UNDER CURIOUS MINDS
This program teaches with youth of color about their human, legal, and civil rights and how they can make sure these rights are not abused. We learn about past injustices and current events where human rights are stripped from people of color that occur in Chicago, the U.S. and transnationally.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
We aim to work with disadvantaged youth and individuals impacted with complex trauma and stresses that can cause anxiety and depression through a strengths-based perspective.
